School of Philosophy

 The School of Philosophy functions on two levels:

1) Within the Faculty of Arts our responsibility is training in Philosophy, Ethics and the subject “Understanding the World”.

2) Our responsibility between faculties is the establishment of expertise in the field of the Philosophy of Science and Ethics, as well as supporting and empowering staff in identifying and handling the philosophical problems of fundamental issues in their fields.
