Vaal Triangle Campus - Academic Administration
Study guides
A study guide is a study material guide that outlines the outcomes of the module and also prescribes books and/or other resources for the student to acquire sufficient knowledge and understanding required by the module. This guide also provides the details of the lecturer.
Study guides are collected at Building 25 G35-38.
Requirements for issuing study guides:
■ Every registered student is required to have a student card and proof of registration (as a backup measure in case the Oracle system is off-line) upon collecting the study guides material.
■ The integrated system was recently introduced at the Vaal Campus for the first time and will be effective as from the academic year 2011.
■ There are no significant changes between the so-called primitive system we have been using and the envisaged one. The new system will also keep track of quantities and manage stock control.
■ Because we want to maximize and control our service, all full-time students will receive service from 08:00-16:00 and part-time students strictly from 16:00-17:00, because of their time constraints, although we are still able to offer them service at any given time of the day.
