
Olympic dreams for NWU athletes
Sunette Viljoen, the NWU Potchefstroom campus’ Olympic javelin thrower, will start her campaign for another South African gold medal on Tuesday, 7 August at London 2012.
This native of Rustenburg is the current Africa and Commonwealth champion and is currently ranked as the number one woman’s javelin thrower in the world.

Another NWU Potchefstroom campus athlete, the 22-year old André Olivier, has qualified for the men’s 800m semi-final at the Games tonight, with a qualifying time of 1:4:42.
