Institutional Student Representative Council (ISRC)

The Institutional Student Representative Council (ISRC) is established by Council by approving the constitution and the rules of the ISRC according to which the ISRC is composed and has to function. The ISRC is accountable to the Vice-Chancellor and Council for the governance of organised student life within the University. It consists of designated members of the different Campus Student Representative Councils.

ISRC 2016/17

In the middle are Burger Terblanche, additional member, Nafisa Mbali, deputy secretary general, Nicole Jansen, arts and culture officer, Lebohang Mpharaone, additional member and Vernice Steenkamp, health and safety officer. In front are Dikago Pule, deputy and acting president, Paul Maritz, president and Lesego More, secretary.  Siyabonga Mhlabane, academic officer, is absent.
