The Residence Officer

• handles all liaison between the CSRC and residences through effective and efficient liaison with House Committee members,
• organises and coordinates CSRC visits to residences,
• informs the Director of Student Affairs and/or House Parents of all coordinating activities of all residences,
• ensures that the primarii/primariae  of all the different residences regularly report in writing on matters concerning their residences,
• passes on to and discusses with the prims all important matters concerning residences,
• constitutes a committee from the primarii/primariae and sees to it that it functions as it should,
• takes a seat as ex-officio member in the Residence Management Committee (RMC) and files all relevant documents,
• bargains in general for residents,
• represents the students and the SRC in all residence and catering matters of the University,
• serves in the residence placement committee,
• serves in the catering committee.
