Students with disabilities

In terms of the University’s policy for persons with disabilities, we shall try as far as is possible to assist with:
a) application for the specific bursaries that are available for persons with disabilities;
b) the registration process;
c) study, emotional and adjustment problems;
d) if applicable, arrangements for extended writing time for tests and examinations, as well as separate exam writing;
e) special arrangements with lecturers where necessary; and
f) difficulties relating to the accessibility of lecture rooms and buildings.

Please note that the NWU Potchefstroom Campus cannot accept any responsibility for purchasing special equipment, software or apparatus for disabilities. This therefore remains the student’s responsibility.
