Protection of the NWU Network and Information

Both staff members and students have a responsibility to protect the NWU Network and the University’s information.

Therefore ensure that you:

Read the following Rules and Guidelines:
Rules and Guidelines for the protection of IT Infrastructure
Rules and Guidelines for Passwords
Use an unique password and never write it down where somebody may find it or give it to anybody. Protect it the same way as you would your bank card pin.
The official NWU anti-virus program, Microsoft Security Essentials is installed on your workstation and always up to date and active.
