School of Philosophy

 The functions of the School of Philosophy lie on two levels:

1) In the Faculty of Arts its responsibility is training in Philosophy, Ethics and the subject “Understanding the World”.

2) Its responsibility between faculties is the establishment of expertise in the field of the Philosophy of Science and Ethics, as well as supporting and empowering staff in identifying and handling the philosophical problems of fundamental issues in their fields.
