Pensioned Puk Alumni Members of Staff entertained
|
The NWU Puk Alumni Office recently entertained Puk alumni members of staff on a breakfast at the Vice-Chancellor’s residence.
The occasion was arranged to thank and acknowledge them for their years of service and dedication to the University.
The alumni staff also met die Rector of the Campus, Prof. Herman van Schalkwyk, during the breakfast and heard what his vision during his term of office is. The Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Theuns Eloff, assured them in a brief overview that things are going well with the North-West University.
Prof. TT Cloete thanked the host on behalf of the guests.
The reaction of most of the guests during the occasion was “thank you that you have not forgotten us”, and in the same breath confirmed that there will always be a special bond between the Puk Alumni and their alma mater.
