Campus celebrated Freedom Day in style

Students of NWU’s Mafikeng Campus gathered at the Student Centre to commemorate South Africa’s Freedom Day, which is celebrated on 27 April every year.

The event, organised by the Campus Student Representative Council (CSRC) on the eve of Freedom Day, was also attended by Campus Rector Prof Dan Kgwadi and other members of senior management.

CSRC President Tsietsi Mmutle reminded students that, “As we enjoy this magnificent day, let us keep in mind the many challenges facing our country. Let us commit ourselves to do whatever is possible, to work together to help bring prosperity to our country and to ensure that all students share in that prosperity.”
