NORTH-WEST UNIVERSITY HUMAN RIGHTS DAY CELEBRATIONS

Institutional Office – Judge Raymond Zondo, Judge President: Labour Court and Labour Appeals Court, explored the theme “Your rights in the workplace” at a workshop held at the North-West University in celebration of Human Rights Day 2010.

Judge Zondo touched on subjects such as diversity, respect, integrity, commitment, responsibility and tolerance in the workplace.

The workshop was held on 24 March 2010 at the Institutional Office in Potchefstroom. It consisted of a presentation by Judge Zondo, after which the floor was open for questions and discussions on the key subjects.

Delegates from the whole NWU community, namely the Mafikeng, Potchefstroom, and Vaal Triangle Campuses and the Institutional Office attended the event. To create a more diverse group, delegates from state departments as well as different stakeholders from the community were also invited.
