Music students receive several bursaries

Fourteen undergraduate and postgraduate students at the School of Music on the Potchefstroom Campus of the North-West University (NWU) received bursaries in support of their music studies from the Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO).

SAMRO annually offers music bursaries of R10 000 each to students from all the tertiary institutions in South Africa in five categories. The NWU School of Music is one of only two institutions in the country whose students received bursaries in all five categories.
