Mokataka obtains certificate in business management
“I would like to stay at the University and maybe get a better job,” says Ishmael Mokataka, a messenger at the mail division, who recently obtained his certificate in Business Management at the Advice Bureau for Small Business Enterprises at the North-West University’s Potchefstroom Campus.

Mokataka says he still has a lot of energy and will continue with his studies. He is already busy with his next course in business management at the Advice Bureau for Small Business Enterprises
Mr Bertus le Roux of Logistics says he takes his hat off for Ishmael, because it is a tough course with a lot of financial aspects for which one must work really hard. “Ishmael is an example to everybody and proof that anyone who really wants to, can study further.”
Mokataka started working at the NWU about four years ago and quickly realised that he did not want to be a messenger all his life.
He is also an excellent middle distance athlete and at school, Boitshoko Secondary School, he was one of the country’s best junior athletes. He also represented the North-West team in the early nineties.
One of his senior colleagues, Ms Sanna Seraolo, says he is a dear child and one of the best messengers the mail division has.
