Service Service targets User responsibilities

Description

This service enables the user who is not on campus to work on the NWU network as if being on campus.

Cost

  • This service is free.
  • ISP costs incurrend are for the account of the user.
 

This service is available to:
Staff

 

Availability

This service is available 95% of the 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Support is only available during office hours.

Prerequisites

The user’s Line Manager has to provide permission for the service before the service may be granted.

Client software must be loaded and Windows, Linux and Apple platforms are accommodated.

On Windows the status of MSE and Windows Updates are checked in order for access to be granted.

Log a ticket providing your Line Manager’s name and NWU number or contact your Campus IT Service Desk.
