eFundi

eFundi is the North-West University's implementation of Sakai, a system developed by a group of well-known Universities worldwide (see http://www.sakaiproject.org). It is a web-based eLearning, collaboration and research management system. It is designed to help lecturers and researchers create many different types of course and project sites, with varying levels of complexity.

Examples

Course sites, with any combination of administrative, assessment, communication and resource-sharing features
Research sites (local and international) for academics with shared interests
Project or task related sites that provide a central space for collecting and reflecting on data as well as discussion

eFundi offers a broad spectrum of features, including tools for administration, assessment, communication, resource-sharing and collaborative learning. Tools are selected individually, based on the specific requirements of each site, and can be added or removed as needed.

How you use eFundi is entirely up to you!
